Vision Zero Final Plan

After receiving feedback from District Coalition meetings and community input the Vision Zero Task Force helped to shape the Portland Vision Zero final draft Action Plan, which includes 32 actions. Vision Zero is Portland’s goal to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2025. The final draft of the plan is available at www.VisionZeroPortland.com.  Next Wednesday, October 12, 3:00 pm time certain, the final draft Vision Zero Action Plan will be in front of City Council. Transportation System Plan

TSP Stage 2 Recommended Draft now available here The Planning & Sustainability Commission (PSC) received over 400 public testimonies on the previous draft of the Stage 2 TSP Update and made key changes in the Recommended Draft now before City Council.The City of Portland is updating the Transportation System Plan (TSP): the long-range plan guiding transportation investments in the City. The TSP is part of the Comprehensive Plan Early Implementation Package. Central City Transportation Survey

Bilingual survey seeks public feedback on transportation in Portland’s Central City The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation launched its Central City Multimodal Project today with the publication of an Early Input Survey. The survey, offered in both English and Spanish, asks people about how they travel, where they go, and what challenges they face while getting around in the Central City. Vision Zero Listening Session

Join us: Listening session on May 9 State, regional and local leaders will talk with stakeholders and hear from community members about making our streets safe. Mayor Charlie Hales, Commissioner Steve Novick and PBOT Director Leah Treat will join other members of the Vision Zero Executive Committee to get the latest on Portland’s plan to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on our roads.
