Other Grant Funders
In the course of our work, we have have been made aware of or discovered the following agencies or organizations offering grants. Jn most cases we have little or no information on these programs; please click the appropriate link and contact the organization(s) you are interested in engaging with to learn more.

  • Digital Lift Foundation – Digital Lift is the charitable arm of Monday.com, a private corporation that sells software as a service. Digital Lift makes yearly grants to non-profits in kind (free subscriptions to monday.com and their software) or of $1000 or less to purchase subscriptions to other Software as a service platforms (Zoom, for example).
  • Portland Parks Foundation – PPF is offering small grants to support community organizations working to create and/or care for public parks and park programs, community gardens and natural areas in the city of Portland.
  • Metro – Various grants available
  • Oregon Community Foundation – OCF grants are as varied as our state. Some are awarded through an open grant application process, while others reflect an advised fund donor’s recommendation. But they all have a single goal: improving our community.
  • West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District – Support conservation projects or education efforts about conservation.
  • Regional Arts & Culture Council – Project grants that support cultural and arts programs and services that involve direct community participation.
  • Multnomah County Cultural Coalition – Supports community-based cultural events, programs and activities that are open to the public.
  • Oregon Arts Commission – Supports projects that address a local community problem, issue or need through an arts-based solution.
  • Awesome Portland – Funds creative and community building ideas that make Portland better.
  • Environmental Services: Community Watershed Stewardship Program – Including neighborhood improvements, community gardens, youth leadership, and more!
  • EPA Environmental Justice Small Grants Program – Supports and empowers communities working on solutions to local environmental and public health issues.
  • The Jackson Foundation – A broad purpose charitable fund that responds to requests deemed most appropriate to “promote the welfare of the public of the City of Portland or the State of Oregon, or both.”
  • Meyer Memorial Trust – Built on a vision of a flourishing and equitable Oregon, Meyer is committed to investing in change at the systemic level to ease inequities and disparities.
  • Gray Family Foundation – Providing grants to Oregon teachers and organizations that get kids learning outside.
  • Oregon Humanities – Public Program Grants between $1,000 and $10,000 in support of programs across Oregon that get people together to think and talk about challenging issues and ideas.
  • Project for Public Spaces Heart of the Community is a signature outreach program of Southwest Airlines with a mission to build connections that bring people together and strengthen communities for a more resilient future.
