Using funds from the Bureau of Planning & Sustainability, NWNW partnered with local organizations to support our most vulnerable community members during COVID-19.
Focused on the accessibility of health resources in our community, we partnered with Friendly House to put together 439 COVID Care Kits. The kits included spray sanitizer, snacks and face masks donated by volunteers. They were then distributed among Friendly House, LiftUP, and William Temple House, which all serve low income community members in the NW. An additional 200 masks went to Rose Haven and Clay Street Table.
Hand sanitizer was generously donated by the following Portland distilleries. Show them some support!
- Freeland Spirits: 2671 NW Vaughn Street
- Stone Barn Brandyworks: 3315 SE 19th Ave, Suite B
- Shine Distillery: 4232 N Williams Ave.
Thank you to all of the volunteers, nonprofits, and businesses making our community safer and brighter!
