Vision Zero Listening Session

Join us: Listening session on May 9

State, regional and local leaders will talk with stakeholders and hear from community members about making our streets safe.

Mayor Charlie Hales, Commissioner Steve Novick and PBOT Director Leah Treat will join other members of the Vision Zero Executive Committee to get the latest on Portland’s plan to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on our roads.

Committee members will also spend 45 minutes hearing from the public about their experiences on Portland’s streets.

City staff and partners expect to send the Vision Zero Action Plan to City Council for approval in October.

Monday, May 9 at 5:15 – 6:30 pm
Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, 2801 N. Gantenbein Ave.
Lorenzen Conference Center, room 1700 and 1702 (campus map)

Community members have the opportunity to speak for up to two minutes each as time permits. Sign up in advance by emailing your request or by calling 503.823.9415 and leaving a message that includes your name. People who do not sign up early will be able to speak if there is enough time.

We will provide comment cards for everyone who does not get a chance to speak.

Thank you for supporting safe streets in Portland.
