  • If want to know what’s new in the retail space downtown, be sure to visit some new pop-up shops.  There are NINE new pop-up shops in the area between SW Taylor and Harvey Milk, and bounded by SW 11th and SW 4th.  Stop and talk to the shop owners and buy a gift or two.

Ways to Amp Up Your Festive Joy

  • If you missed the 39th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Pioneer Courthouse Square, just know that you still have a chance to see it!  This year’s tree is a 75’ Douglas-fir that was generously donated by Stimson Lumber Company.  It’s illuminated with 9,500 colorful LED lights!

  • Sip a cocktail, have dinner and view the city in its illuminated finest from the 20th floor of the new Bellpine Restaurant on the 20th floor of the new Ritz Carlton!  Or if heights aren’t your thing, visit the Lobby Bar which is decorated in woodland finery.
  • If food carts are more to your liking, visit the Mid-Town Beer Garden @ 431 SW Harvey Milk.  Create your own moveable feast from 25 food carts representing diverse cultures and cuisines!
