Portland Parks & Recreation invites community organizations to apply for partnership opportunities through the Community Partnership Program.
Current Opportunities include:
Space Use and Service Contract Partnerships
Portland Parks & Recreation is accepting statements of interest from individuals, groups, clubs, and organizations for free or discounted space at community and art centers between June 15, 2024 and June 30, 2025.
PP&R is also accepting interest for Service Contract Agreement Partnerships to begin between June 15, 2024 and June 30, 2025.
Space Use and Service Contract Partnerships will be given to those who best demonstrate in their proposal how the project or program will serve communities who are underserved, specifically:
• Black People, Indigenous People, or People of Color,
• Immigrants and Refugees,
• People earning low income,
• Teens,
• Seniors,
• People living with disabilities,
• LGBTQIA+ communities.
Proposals will be reviewed as they are received, and must be submitted by April 7, 11:59 pm. Proposals will be evaluated by a panel of subject matter experts from PP&R and the community. Initial awardees will be notified before May 15, 2024.

Yard Tree Giveaway (YTG) Outreach Contract Partnerships
Portland Parks and Recreation (PP&R) will accept statements of interest from organizations that would like to participate in Yard Tree Giveaway Outreach Contract Partnerships. These contracts are managed by PP&R Urban Forestry.
The goals of this Partner Contract are to:
• Promote free trees available through the PP&R Urban Forestry’s Yard Tree Giveaway program.
• Help people register for Yard Tree Giveaway.
• Provide early registration, access, and assistance for underserved community members.
• Register Partner community members for 200 trees.
Statement of Interest for the contract is due by April 1, 2024. Contract Partnerships may begin as early as May 15, 2024.
