On September 23, 2023, join Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) and community partners for a celebration of community in Forest Park!

As the City of Portland recognizes the 75 years it has stewarded this landscape, we invite our community into the park to honor the generations of Indigenous people who have stewarded the land since time immemorial, to celebrate community connections to this special place, and to help ensure Forest Park is inclusive and welcoming for generations to come.

The event features volunteer opportunities, group hikes, workshops, and other activities. Some activities center specific communities or affinity groups, but all are welcome!

Lunch will be provided for all registered participants. Learn more about the event and register to participate!
