Downtown & Pearl District Graffiti Removal

Get trained to remove graffiti! Join volunteers from Downtown, Old Town, Pearl District, Goose Hollow, and SW Hills on Saturday, April 24th meet at 9:00 am at Directors Park or 9:30 am at Jamison Square for a training by Paul Watts, the City’s primary Graffiti Removal contractor. Get connected, get involved, and keep our city beautiful!

Kingsley Park Community Garden Work Party

Help restore Linnton’s Kingsley Community Garden in celebration of Earth Day on Saturday, April 24th at 10:00 am. The work party will include restoring garden plots, placing bark chips and gravel on garden paths and weeding natural areas around the garden and hillside. While we do have some garden tools, we encourage you to bring your own shovel, rake, weeding tools, clippers, and/or loppers. An extra wheelbarrow would be helpful too!

Forest Park Litter Pickup

Help remove litter from our roads and parks! Join Forest Park Neighborhood Association on Saturday April 17th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon for the Annual Forest Park SOLVE Clean-Up. This is a perfect opportunity to volunteer and give back to your community and the Earth! See day-of details in the registration link below.

NWDA Neighborhood Clean Up

Join together with Coldwell Banker Bain, SOLVE, and community members on Saturday April 17th, from 1:00 to 3:00 to clean up our neighborhood for Earth Day! Volunteers will gather outside of Coldwell Banker Bain on NW 21st to check-in, get cleanup gear, and then head out to pick up trash.

Saturday Market Clean Up

Join us for a neighborhood clean-up around the Portland Saturday Market from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 10th. We’ll meet up at SW Ankeny St. 2 SW Naito Parkway to come together and make a real impact on the Saturday Market a week before they open! Facemasks required.

SHNA Litter Clean Up

Come help clean up the Sylvan Highlands area! Join us on Saturday April 17th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon to beautify the neighborhood. A signup table will be located in the parking lot of the Sylvan Westgate business park at 1750 SW Skyline. Pick up supplies, sign a waiver for the event, and get to work! Facemasks required.

Stormwater Stars

Stormwater Stars workshops provide ideas on how to manage rain that falls around your home, school, workplace, or place of worship. You’ll receive an overview of different ways to handle stormwater issues, and get plenty of hands-on practice in restoring soils, naturescaping with native plants, creating porous pathways, and more!

All workshop attendees will receive a free native plant
